The Lifesaving Society’s National Lifeguard certification builds on the fundamental skills, knowledge, fitness, judgment and values taught in the prerequisite Lifesaving Society lifesaving certifications. Recognized as the standard for lifeguards in Canada, National Lifeguard training develops a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment, and a mature and responsible attitude toward the role of the lifeguard. Find out more »OPEN WATER SWIM TRAINING
New to the sport or triathlon? This one hour session is designed for new triathletes seeking supervised open water swim training within the City of Edmonton limits. Athletes enrolled in the 14 week programs will received bi-weekly workouts under the supervision of a supervised by Lifesaving Society certified waterfront lifeguard and National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certified Level 1 swimming coach. Dates: June 22 -Sept 12 Cost: $220.00 (resident) and $240.00 (non-residents)/drop in $10.00 (resident) and $15.00 ( non-resident)
